Jillian grew up in Texas and Pennsylvania but with roots in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas with a double major in German and International Relations. Following graduation, she volunteered for a state computer education program serving adults in rural Texas. After making the move to Seattle, Jillian attended law school at Seattle University School of Law. While there, she worked in the Ronald Peterson Law Clinic’s International Human Rights Clinic and Youth Advocacy Clinic. Since receiving her Juris Doctor, she regularly volunteers with the King County Housing Justice Project, helping low-income tenants facing eviction. Jillian advises clients regarding landlord-tenant disputes, contract disputes, debt negotiations and dissolutions. Apart from practicing law, Jillian spends her time with her family and friends as well as hiking and bouldering.
